Preparing Dogs For Hunting Season

Preparing Bella for hunting season is in full swing right now, and in an effort to get caught up on YouTube to where we are currently at with filming, we are blasting out episodes like never before on our YouTube. If you are a binge watcher, you will be very happy! The Bella Be Good Series on our YouTube channel will have roughly ten new episodes a day until we are caught up to real time. We want to show you now what we are doing with Bella to prepare her for the fast approaching hunting season.

Hunting season is only a few short weeks away for us here in Wisconsin, but that doesn’t mean our training will be rushed or changed to try and force a dog to be ready for the opener. Taking a dog on hunt before he/she is ready can create very real and very serious problems that can stick for the rest of the dogs life. How do we avoid this? Don’t take them before they are ready!

In this episode we are analyzing a number of videos that a guy sent in doing hold conditioning with a very young pup, but also dive into a number of other great topics, such as dog training for hunting season and how we will be preparing Bella for it.
