Avoid bad habits before they form is the key to raising a retriever. We have said time and time again that trying to train out bad habits is way harder to do than preventing them from ever forming. Our dogs are constantly forming habits, both good and bad. In this episode Jeremy answers a retrieving question that comes in, but then explains how to avoid the issues this person is facing before they ever happen, and how important it is to have an understanding of what not to do before you even get a puppy.
