How We Teach Dogs to Recall

How do we teach dogs to recall? A number of ways, but the easiest and most effective is to take advantage of their natural tendencies to follow us around when they are little puppies, while tieing that behavior to a command or whistle. As the dog gets older, we use a drill called "reverse heel" to teach a dog to recall. This is a great episode that will help anyone who is struggling to get their dog to recall and come back when they call it!
