Bird Work w/ Flushers: Building Drive & Steadiness

We use pigeons and birds for many things in training. With the flushing dogs, this is a perfect example of how you tailor your training to the individual dog.

With some, we use birds to build and bring out that "predator & prey" instinct in a dog to build confidence and drive on birds. With others, we use birds to work through and harness too much drive, build patience, and build steadiness. It all depends on the dog!
